Opportunity Description
The University of Bone’s Department of Geography (GIUB) and the United Nations University Institute of Environmental and Human Security (UNU-EHS) are happy to launch the International Joint Master of Science Programme: Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security 2023.
The two-year Master of Science program’s primary goal is to give graduate students the in-depth information, critical thinking skills, approaches, and resources they need to adopt an interdisciplinary approach to environmental hazards and human security. To better understand the complicated emergence of environmental risks and natural hazards, their implications for human-nature relations (vulnerability, resilience, adaptation), and how to deal with them in practice, the Master’s program addresses theoretical and methodological debates in geography. An internship lasting at least eight weeks is a requirement of the program. It offers a distinctive blend of advanced conceptual and applied interactions on environmental hazards and human security in an international setting.
