About Us
Watan Development and Initiative Organization (WDIO) is a civil, nongovernmental, nonprofit, nonpolitical & an independent organization, it is founded by a team of professional & committed Afghan citizens in the year 2014. The main four areas for which the organization works are peace building & defending of human rights, education, health services and agriculture & livestock. We also work for enhancement of democracy, equal access to justice and services for women, reduction of domestic violence, rehabilitation of battered women and abused children. The organization was registered in the Ministry of Economy with the registration number # 3120 dated 02-02-2014. The organization works in Collaboration with other line Ministries, NGOs, INGOs, and Donor community.
