About Afghanistan Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Corporation (AUWSSC):
Introduction: Afghanistan Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Company based on Decree No. (130) dated 11/5/1384 of the Supreme President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Resolution No. (36) dated 10/18/2005 of the Council of Ministers to change the legal personality of water supply to the company Afghanistan’s urban water supply and sewerage has been directed, which was later assigned to the company to fulfill the above-mentioned decree (working group) on changing the legal personality of the enterprise, which continued until 11/24/1386, and later for the purpose of liquidation of the liquidation board. The Ministry of Finance has decided to take action on the consolidation and transfer of all movable and immovable property to the company, the work of which continued from 3/7/1387 to 21/2009. Objectives of the company: – Public health and well-being in cities – Environmental protection – Provision of safe drinking water – Collection and treatment of wastewater – Growth of effective and continuous water supply services – Development of human resources – Activities of commercial and for-profit enterprises and effective management And it is fruitful. Basic tasks of the company: · Organizing and managing water supply and sewerage facilities (sewage). · Collect Bell (tariff) water use from consumers and maintain and control it. · Review and study of water supply plan and sewerage facilities (sewage) with the help of domestic and foreign consultants in accordance with the laws of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. · Water supply and sewerage facilities (sewage) along with its completion in accordance with environmental laws. · Production of skewed concrete pipes to create sewerage networks (sewage). · Launching an exhibition equipped to examine the quality of drinking water and water control after its purification according to international standards. · Obtaining membership in regional and international associations for the provision of water services and sewerage (sewage) in accordance with the rules and regulations. · Development of human resources as necessary. · Technical opaque training to provide better water supply and sewerage services (sewage). · Attracting domestic and foreign aid for cloud training, water supply and sewerage facilities (sewage) and providing materials required by the company. · Signing a cooperation agreement with national and international organizations to provide better services
