The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) offers a unique chance to pursue a two-year Master’s degree in a Commonwealth nation with a low or moderate income. This scholarship is open to Citizens or those who hold refugee status in a Commonwealth country.
The scholarships offer a once-in-a-lifetime chance for students dedicated to bringing about change in their communities to extend their perspectives, experience a new culture, and create a lifelong worldwide network.
Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholars work to effect good change and find answers to the problems we all confront via academic collaboration and cross-cultural interchange, both in their home countries & those that host them. Scholars will actively participate in shaping the Commonwealth network’s future.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be citizens, refugees, or long-term residents of one of the Commonwealth countries can apply for this opportunity.
- Application for a QECS award must be made outside of the applicant’s place of residence or citizenship.
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with a 2:1 or above.
- All ages of candidates are welcome to apply.
