System administrator assistant is responsible to operate and monitor all servers under the supervision of System Administrator, within the Control Centre/Datacenter in a professional and efficient manner. In addition He/She has to ensure integrity, accuracy, confidentiality of all information gained by compliance with quality standards and legislation, while preserving the rights of the individual.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitoring client computers anti viruses, windows update and making sure, the client computers are receiving the regular updates.
Troubleshooting the branches client computers from HQ remotely.
Making sure that BMA IT policies are applied on all client computers at BMA HQ.
Perform regular security monitoring to indentify any possible instructions.
Resetting the user’s account and outlook password as required.
Training the HQ and branches staff as required.
Assist the system administrator to analyze, research and advice about any new idea that can make the BMA IT system more secure and reliable.
Working and helping the Help desk section as required.
Troubleshoots hardware, software problems and system failures.
Working till late after the business hours as required.
Additional duties as assigned.
Make sure that end user is not using any third party software’s and any software’s which is against the BMA IT policies.
Make sure that all the CD ROOMS, USBs are blocked on the end users.
Make sure that the admin password should not be released to any unpasteurized person.
Assist the system administrator for managing, installation and configuration of the servers and services
Perform any other task or duty assigned by the line manager.
Assist the system administrator for maintanace and configuration of active directory, Exchange server 2013/2016/2019, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, and Kaspersky security center.
Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (IT).
Should be a MCSA, MCP, CompTIA A+ and having at least 2 years experience working with server 2008, 2016 and 2019.
Having knowledge working with active directory, Exchange server 2013/2016/2019, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, and Kaspersky security center.
Familiar with Linux operating system
Having ability to work under pressure.
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Hands on experience in dealing with daily troubleshooting problems to enable error free system.
Ability to work long hours in case of need.
