Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilites:
- Concept analysis and framework design:
- Definition of business logic modules and transfer into descriptive concepts.
- Definition of database table structures based on common normalization rules.
- Analyses of data flow and data exchange requirements between processes and modules.
- Development of secure transaction methodologies.
- Analysis of reporting requirements and outline of report formats.
- Database and software development:
- Installing and configuring relational database server(s), php environment, web-server.
- Creating table structures and database user management systems.
- Programming and testing database server scripts and internal transaction control systems.
- Implementation and testing of software modules.
- Roll out and training of software modules.
- Programming and testing of reports according to specified requirements.
- Database Server Administration:
- Monitoring and maintaining system health and security of the database server.
- Designing of backup processes for server and associated data.
- Assigning of control access permissions and privileges to database systems.
- Establishing a disaster recovery plan.
- Scheduling and performing regular server maintenance.
- Implementing patches and update to the database systems.
- Writing and maintaining documentation for the database systems.
- Designing and development of the ASPH website.
- Other tasks assigned by the department’s head.
Job Requirements:
Education:
At least Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development or related faield.
Specific Skills & Experience:
- Previous relevante working experience as a Laravel framework developer minimum for (4) years.
- In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel framework.
- Ability to build efficient, testable and reusable PHP modules.
- Ability to solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Ability to write efficient code and work on all stages of the application development life-cycle.
- Hands on experience with git, SQL schema design, REST API design.
- Experience in MVC pattern Design.
- In-depth experience of AJAX, JQuery, VueJS, Angular and JavaScript.
- Experience in writing unit tests using frameworks.
- Front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- MySQL profiling and query Optimization.
General Skills:
- Outstanding analytical, research, planning and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to conceptualize and model complex software systems.
- Outstanding knowledge of database systems preferably in the open-source area.
- Outstanding knowledge and awareness regarding data and systems security.
- Very good understanding of software development tools and relational database systems.
