Job Description:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting
- Financial analysis and reports to be sent to CFO and shareholders on the end of each month so this can be sent to Board.
- Daily revenue report to be circulated first half. Work to have organization embrace BI to avoid manual reporting.
- Board reporting for 3 times a year to be done in line with CFO instructions on board dates
- Internal Audit Compliance.
EBITDA Achievement
- Focus on commercial and work with Commercial to be more effective on revenue analysis
- Maintain COS in line with Budget and come up with initiatives to improve gross margin
- Drive OPEX reduction
- Profitability analysis per site with Controlling to effectively manage downturn’s if occur on revenue
OPEX Productivity
- Establish discipline around operating expenditure.
- Oversee an effective accrual process and policy run by Accounting.
- Work effectively with procurement to ensure contracts are renewed at effective prices
- Foster new ideas amongst the team to come up with operating expenditure efficiency
CAPEX Productivity
- Monitor smooth process of CAPEX ordering through timely committee approvals.
- E2E CAPEX productivity analysis with controlling to drive timely installments and assess returns
- Embed Capex Governance Process
CAPEX MIS
- Facilitate cross functional meetings on a monthly basis
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Align with Strategy for Budget kick off
- Forecasting to be done in line with timelines for reporting: April end for FC1, July end for FC2 and FC3 in line with budget finalization
- Budgets to be scrubbed properly by Controlling with assumptions realistic and achievable
Job Requirements:
Daily Activities:
- Providing analysis and solution on matters arising from financial and non-financials numbers to all departments.
- Ensuring daily MIS reports are send to management.
- Helping management in implementing big picture visions
- Coaching staff on daily tasks related to MIS and Reporting
- Following on major strategy items to ensure financial plans are achieved.
- Authorizing purchase requisitions through business and data analysis.
- Controlling Budgeted actions.
- Financial Analysis; Business Case and Post Project Analysis
Monthly Activities:
- Drive budget planning and forecasting with cross functional teams in each operation based on Company strategies, roll out, CAPEX commitments and macro-economic trends.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the company to measure growth cross functionally
- Provided monthly updates to the Management team highlighting each operation’s key achievements and downfalls against the Budget.
- Financial Analysis; Business Case and Post Project Analysis
- General ledger review, journal entries and financial reports
- Budget advising to the teams on issues of classification and reporting
- cost optimization activities and budget control
- Authorizing purchase requisitions through business and data analysis
- Analyzed monthly management accounts against the Budget and developing cost restructuring mechanisms to grow the bottom line and maintaining costs
