Job Description:

  • Provide practical weapons training for National Public Protection Force (NPPF) such as weapons cleanness, fixing, usage of weapons and etc. (both for Kabul and Oilfield)
  • Provide security techniques for NPPF that how to dealt in fighting.
  • Provide all necessary security training for all national and international staff for their safety and security capacity building.
  • Conduct a training for night duty control room.
  • Stay at night per month for monitoring the night shift duty control room.
  • Provide training to the drivers and have conduct biweekly meeting.
  • Training for all new personnel and refresher training as needed.
  • Proper knowledge of security SOPs and overall security analysis.
  • Deliver reliably good or better teaching sessions, including an effective range of learning strategies and technologies that enable outstanding learning outcomes.
  • Design, develop and maintain teaching resources to ensure the best experience for the learners.
  • Maintain safe working practices and a safe environment for the learners.
  • Conduct security drilling for NPPF.

Assist the Security Officer in the following tasks:

  • Translating official security letters, investigation statements, security reports and official documents (English and Dari)
  • Preparing the SR/MR, single source justifications and payment applications for the security department contracts. Getting all required signatures for the security contracts from each department and submitting to the Procurement Department.
  • Generating travel requests for the security department and ensuring all relevant signatures are there.
  • Accurately filing security documents.
  • Review detailed reports regarding incidents of theft, injury, property damage etc.
  • Monitor all activities for unauthorized removal of property.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments.
  • Preparation of Accident Report in case any accident occurs.
  • Ensures that standard procedures for all security-related issues are in place and periodically updated.
  • Conduct Internal Investigations as needed.
  • Be available and “On Call” 24/7 in case of emergencies asked by GM Business Support.
  • Process alarm access requests, issue personal identification codes, and provide access control
  • Maintain contacts with Police Districts and GDI agenda.
  • Responsible for management of Official Vehicle fleet, assigning duties to drivers and monitor the movement of vehicles. Ensure smooth functioning of Vehicle Tracking Devise and the fleet booking app for uninterrupted service.
  • Ensure regular maintenance of vehicles through daily checking by drivers, regular timely servicing, and detailed vehicle records.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a security trainer both academic and practical weapons training both in Kabul Office and Oilfield.
  • Helpful, courteous attitude
  • Proficiency with computers, and aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems
  • 5 years of security training experience, INSO experience is preferable.
  • Excellent English, Pashto, and Dari written and spoken communication skills.
  • Conduct both practical training of weapons for armed security guards and provide security and safety presentations to all staff both in Kabul and as well in the oilfield.
  • Subcontractors, site visitors, procurement, finance, logistics, HR, security subcontractors, and NPPF
  • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills for presentations.
