SCA has been working in Afghanistan since 1982 and is presently managing development programmes linked to Strategic Objectives concerning Health, Education and Community Driven Development. With a total annual, budget of roughly USD 40 million. The total number of staff is around 5,700 of whom 15 are non-Afghans. The SCA presence in Afghanistan consists of the Kabul Management Office (KMO), five Regional Management Offices and two Liaison Offices. In Sweden SCA has 20 staff working at the Stockholm Management Office (SMO) and around 3,500 members organized in local chapters all over the country. In the last 10 years, SCA has undertaken a change process moving from a primarily humanitarian service delivery approach towards more of a developmental role, putting increasing emphasis on capacity development, rights-based programming, and outcome orientation. The mission of SCA is to empower individuals, communities, and local organizations, primarily in rural areas and with particular focus on women, girls, boys and vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, so that they may participate fully in society and influence their own development.

Job Description:

Scope of work:

The Scope Registration Officer work under direct supervision of the Deputy Manager he /She shall deal with support functions of the WRMO and district office Such as: logistic finance and admin and data/documentation related issue he/she will ensure to implement SCA rules and regulations in routine activities and provide related documents and he/she should develop data base of the district activities and update it regularly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act according to the policy and regulations of SCA
  • Develop good co-operation with SCA staff
  • Keep update with issue related to SCA and the environment where SCA operate
  • Promote an attitude of team spirit and a strong and on time focus on.
  • Develop of good co-operation with SCA other units, local authorities’ institution, and other NGOs by provincial and district level.
  • To participates in RD management meetings.
  • Collect the beneficiaries’ information as per the pre-designed template or as required for the SCOPE registration system.
  • Crosscheck and verify the beneficiaries introduced by community elders CDC members and community members not included in the beneficiaries’ selection process.
  • Crosscheck the information provided by the beneficiaries such as Tazkira number with original Tazkira.
  • Collect quality data including biometrics data from the beneficiaries during the registration process.
  • Ensure the number of assigned beneficiary registration targets are met as per the provided deadline,
  • Verify and issue beneficiaries’ identification token/coupon to the registered beneficiaries for the assistance distribution.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor/team lead.
  • Prepare and maintain site staff personal attendance
  • Monitor and supervise vehicle logbook and its proper use
  • Prepare guard duty roster and monitor their performance
  • Oversee guards and cleaners to ensure safety and cleaners of the office
  • Perform other Admin related tasks
  • To perform any other task delegated by line supervisor.


Job Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree holders, a degree in Computer Science is preferred.
  • At least two years of work experience is required.
  • Previous work experience with WFP projects will be a bonus for candidates.
  • Able to work under heavy pressure situations.
  • Able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Ability to speak Pashto and Dari, English fluency is also required.
  • Fast pace in English language typing/Data entry with higher accuracy is required.
  • Ability to travel to various districts in the respective provinces.
  • Good Knowledge on data entry, documentation, filling, and record keeping.
  • Working experiences in administration related jobs with well-known NGOs
  • Communication skill both written and spoken in English, Dari, or Pashto
  • To be familiar with the cultural, socio-economic, and political environment of Wardak province
  • Familiar with report writing
  • Honest, Active, and well mannered
  • Being Afghan citizen
