Job Summary
Risk Manager will oversee the organization comprehensive insurance and risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing an overall risk management Framework for ABMMC
- Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and standards.
- Reviewing any new major contracts or internal business proposals for its risk weightage
- Reporting new risks or failures of existing control measures with remedial action to operations
- Keeping the risk registers and related action plans updated
- Identifying Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and consolidating the quarterly and annual risk register and database review reports and timely reporting to BOS.
- Review issues raised by internal audit that impacts risk management.
- Ensuring Management Action Plans developed in response to audit, and evaluation recommendations adequately address the key risks identified.
- Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company.
- Providing management with information about the organization’s controls and determining which controls should be in place to adequately lower the overall risk profile of various critical processes.
- Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the BOS about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks).
- Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
- Draft and present risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.
- Perform risk Evaluation and Assessment.
- Any other duties as may assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Finance or Risk Management, or a related field.
- Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Risk Manager, Auditing and Reporting procedures.
- Strong computer and research skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
