Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Issues purchase orders to suppliers, distributors and manufacturers.
  • Ensures that orders received are accurate.
  • Ensures goods received are not damaged.
  • Handles goods throughout the purchasing process.
  • Works closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company.
  • Maintains current awareness of industry market trends.
  • Conducts competitor analysis to identify popular products.
  • Keeps accurate records of purchases made.
  • Schedules and manage new product trials, liaise with vendors.
  • Manages activities of purchasing, production planning and scheduling, inventory management, warehousing and logistics.
  • Master point of service (POS) computer system for automate order taking.
  • Inputs of purchase orders into system, order acknowledgments, follow-up, and expedition of orders.
  • Provides support to the senior buyer, assisting in the preparation of RFQ’s, RFPs, and purchase orders.
  • Preparing of reports.
  • Provides communication to optimize pricing procedures and reduce complexity.

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) – Specialization in Finance
  • Two years above working experience.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Language requirements: Dari Pashto and English.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
