Great Wall Construction Company as a professional firm working in Afghanistan since 2009. Our main office is in the 4th street, Sarak Naw, Pol-e-Charkhi Industrial Park, Kabul Afghanistan.

Job Description:

  • Ensure successful execution of the project and adequate time and resources are available for the proper operation of the quality function.
  • Ensure elements of plans and specifications are satisfied within planned scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with QC requirements, applicable regulations, and codes.
  • Perform or delegate submittal reviews.
  • Review the project document such as drawing, specification, Term of Reference (TOR), scope of work, general terms and conditions, environmental and social management plan (ESMP) and other documents before starting the project implementation.
  • Prepare a comprehensive project implementation plan with all required resources such as materials, machinery, equipment, manpower etc…
  • Coordinate the project implementation with the client, community, community elders, and other stakeholders for smooth implementation of the project.
  • Manage the project team such as quality control engineer, site engineer, site supervisor, health, social, safety and environmental officer, community mobilizer or community liaison officer and other supportive staff.
  • Ensure that the project execution progress is as per designed drawings, specification and in line with implementation plan.
  • Ensure that the project objectives obtained up to maximum possible extent.
  • Coordinate with logistic officer for procurement and supply of all materials and ensure its quality and quantity is in line with the project document and resource plan.
  • Verify all expenditure and transaction occurred in project level such as payment to manpower, machinery, equipment, and materials.

Report to the client and main office in professional manner.

Job Requirements:

  • Having at least 8 years general experience and 5 years as project manager in construction projects such as road/ building/ water supply and irrigation.
  • BSc in Civil Engineering (please attach your certificate as a separate document)
  • Good working knowledge of English language.
  • Having professional certificate of PMP would be plus advantage
