SUMMARY OF JOB
The candidate will be responsible for product management of Roshan’s Connectivity services, including Internet (ISP) and Lease Circuits (LC)
This position will have the following responsibilities and objectives:
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Roll out ISP / LC related products:
Drive the Product Development process taking into account requirements, regulator policies, sales and marketing.
Plan and execute go to market strategy.
Identify opportunities for new products and promotions, to drive the uptake of products in the Afghan market.
Work with third party providers, sales and distribution to ensure adequate market penetration of products for Roshan customers.
Work with Project Management to coordinate tasks between different departments to deliver product per the GTM plan.
Write deliverables: business case, revenue forecast, presentations, market research, Marketing Communication and customer care briefs, sales training, test plans, functional product specifications, etc.
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to multiple business units and customers. The SME will already have strong command over subjects such as: ISP / LC technologies and trends, architecture and emerging technologies.
Work with multiple products/projects/business units in parallel. He/she must be able to come up to speed quickly in new business areas, balance multiple initiatives, while keeping a high level of performance and customer service.
Create concise, compelling content and business case to present and sell concepts through to senior management.
Maintain, evolve, and communicate best practices and lessons learned. Apply learning to improve process and delivery of Connectivity Solutions.

Excellent written and spoken English
Good understanding of ISP services, micro-wave equipment, wireless equipment, IP, routers/switches from the product marketing point of view
Sound experience of ISP / LC business fundamentals.
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Interpersonal skills required for working in coordination with all departments of the company
Ability to work and perform under pressure
Team management – both within the team and cross functional
