About Organization of Human Welfare (OHW):
The Organization of Human Welfare (OHW) is a non-governmental organization and is a non-political, not-for-profit, and impartial organization with no bias towards a particular religion, ethnicity, or political belief. It has its own independent legal status and entity. OHW is operating since 2007 in the country with active membership with the national clusters and international donor agencies in Afghanistan including SWABAC, ACBAR, AICS, BAAG, AWN and most of the national and international Clusters operates based in Afghanistan.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a close coordination with government entities for the purpose of reporting, work permits and other related duties.
- Facilitate the whole process of project introduction with Ministry of Economy and other related technical line ministries and directorates.
- Assist in approving project MoU with lines ministries and directorates.
- Accompany the Country Director and other senior staff to meetings and other related duties.
- Ensure active follow-up on outstanding applications filed with various ministries, responding to queries from authorities in a timely manner.
- Maintain notes, files, and records of related project/cases.
- Prepare and share regular progress reports with internal senior management.
- Work with other government ministerial when requested by line manager.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to draft and prepare Letters/Memos in Pashto/Dari & English.
Must have excellent typing skills (Pashto/Dari/English).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Must be able to work with the local government entities.
Good computer skills, such as Microsoft Office package.
