Job Description:

The purpose of the role is to establish and maintain a sales and marketing department based on Brand Marketing. Develop a strategic vision, marketing & sales strategies, plans, policies, guidelines, and SOPs to meet organizational objectives. Effectively manage the business development, sales, marketing, advertising, and promotional activities and process of the organization. Lead and contributed to the recruitment, training, coaching, and daily operation of the relevant department staff. Work as field relevant specialist and may deputize for Charge supervisor in his absence and represent the organization everywhere based on policy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop the overall sales & marketing strategy, organization structure, TOR, policies, SOP, and guidelines for the Marketing and sales department of the organization.
  • Manage, execute and coordinate sales, marketing, and business development processes and activities effectively.
  • Develop an annual marketing plan, price strategies, and balance the objectives to maximize sales and achieve the targets.
  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating positions in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, recommending profit and service improvements
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of tests development, such as budgets, expenditures and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
  • Manage the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities.
  • Consult with Doctors/hospitals/clinics to gain advice regarding the types of services expected to be in demand.
  • Setting sales and marketing team KPIs and management of the team ensuring they are on track for achieving KPIs.
  • Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
  • Respond and follow up on customers’ inquiries/questions and escalate complex issues to the relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Lead and maintain the development and production of high-quality communications and publicity material for the dissemination of information about the organization including print, digital and electronic platforms.
  • Analyze sales statistics, determine sales potential and inventory requirements, and monitor the preferences of customers.
  • Make the organization more profitable through reduced costs and increased revenues and improve business efficiency and productivity.
  • Assess and implement the e-commerce introduction and online business and marketing
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Participate in relevant all-level meetings.
  • Perform all other relevant duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master of Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, or Economics, with 3 years relevant experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Bachelor of Business Administration, Business Management, or Economics with 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Certification in marketing, and business analytics is an asset.
  • Documents attestation from MoHE, Afghanistan required

 

LANGUAGE:

  • Excellent writing and speaking proficiency in English, Dari, and Pashto

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in CRM is an asset
