About Youth Health and Development Organization (YHDO):
YHDO is a non-governmental and non-for-profit organization established in 2009, registered with ministry of economy in Afghanistan. YHDO works with interdisciplinary professionals to develop and implement innovative, culturally appropriate, evidence based interventions.
Job Description:
Overall Responsibility: Managing the daily educational activities at local communities and ensure it runs smoothly.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop monthly outreach and youth awareness raising plans.
- Develop awareness raising material for outreach sessions.
- Conduct visits to youth networks in target provinces.
- Support in organizing training for youth networks members.
- Develop educational plan and organize training sessions (Literacy, Numeracy, mathematic, Islamic studies and Life skills) for adolescents and children visiting centers.
- Provide support and guidance to vocational training of clients.
- Keep records in a confidential and safe manner.
- Prepare daily and monthly report for direct supervisor.
- Ensure quality of educational/training services.
- Perform any other tasks in line with the job description and assigned by direct supervisor.
