Turkestan Higher Education Institution was established in the year 1392 in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province. Dated 13/6/1392, after obtaining orders and permission from the Honorable Minister of Higher Education, a separate memorandum of understanding based on preliminary preparations will be signed with the Honorable Ministry. The official license of Turkestan Higher Education Institution was issued by the Honorable Foundation for the Support of Investments (AISA) dated 9/11/1392 and number (D-01-1446) was registered and issued by the Honorable Ministry of Higher Education. At that time, the class plan specific permission was obtained for the three official faculties (medicine, law, political science and economics) and now the Institute of Higher Education of Turkistan is pursuing its scientific and academic activities in the mentioned faculties.
