SSDA is non-profit, non-governmental organization, formally registered under relevant statutory laws of Afghanistan in 2007. SSDA values in diversity and inclusion of everyone in its intervention and believes in participatory and right-based approach, where the rights of population are respected and promoted.
SSDA have been found to contribute to sustainable development in WASH, education, agriculture, poultry, health and development through applying innovative and appropriate approaches i.e. Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS), School Led Total Sanitation (SLTS), QPAs and PRAs.
