Pursuant to Decree No. 16 of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, on 7/20/2014, the National Procurement Office was established within the framework of the General Directorate of the Office of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. After that, the legislative orders No. 60 dated 11/21/93, Decree No. 72 dated 12/13/93 and Decree No. 75, in addition to the merger of the Special Procurement Commission with the National Procurement Commission, the duties and responsibilities of the Procurement Policy Unit, Reconstruction Services Department He delegated the development of Afghanistan and the Contracts Administration to the National Procurement Authority. Then, the amendments to the Procurement Law were approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran on 11/6/2015, No. 20, and the legislative decree No. 75 was implemented on 6/13/2015, and subsequently published in the Official Gazette No. 1186 dated 15/7/1394. Receipt. This legislative decree was sent to the National Council of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for approval in accordance with Article 79 of the Constitution of the country, which was approved by the Wolesi Jirga of the National Assembly in its session dated 10/23/2015.
