About Us

FCDO has been present in Afghanistan since 2015, and operates across central provinces. The organization is registered with the NGO’s Department of the Ministry of Economy, No -3680. FCDO is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization. FCDO delivers lifesaving relief to the displaced, returnees, vulnerable families, and especially women and children with cash and in-kind assistance, shelters, and water and sanitation infrastructure, whilst contributing to long-term recovery and development by constructing roads, bridges, retaining walls, canals, dams, and culverts, investing in agriculture and livelihoods, and strengthening local governance. WFP has been FCDO’s regular partner and donor in providing assistance for the people in need.
