The USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management project team is conducting an Oxygen (O2) activity in Afghanistan. The goal of the O2 activity is to provide assistance to countries selected by USAID leadership as it relates to the provision of O2 in response to COVID-19. The activity will focus on 1) coordinating in-country O2 supply; 2) procuring, delivering, and installing O2 equipment including pressure swing absorption (PSA) or vacuum swing absorption (VSA) O2 generators, O2 concentrators, and related items; and 3) delivering technical assistance (TA). This activity is expected to begin imminently and run through September 2021.
