About Afghan Women Skills Development Cener (AWSDC)
The Afghan Women Skills Development Center (AWSDC) founded in 1999 is a national non-governmental organisation (NGO), dedicated to the promotion and protection of the rights of women in Afghanistan and supporting Afghans to live in peace. After the fall of the Taliban regime in late 2001, AWSDC relocated to Afghanistan, continuing to work for the economic empowerment of Afghan women, while also promoting women’s rights more generally, with a particular emphasis on raising women’s participation in all walks of life, social, economic and political. As of 2012 the organization added Peacebuilding program into its strategic objective.
As per AWSDC 2020 organization Plan the organization has undertaking GBV project with inclusion of WASH component in Kunduz City. AWSDC is looking for competent project manager with proven experience in managing and leading WASH project in Kunduz city. The project manager will be leading a team of WASH engineer, WASH assistant and Hygiene promoters. He will be the overall responsible for project soft and hard component. The WASH Project Manager will be reporting to Program Director.
