The University of Birmingham is launching new MOOCs (Massive open online courses) in collaboration with FutureLearn, The Open University’s first MOOC provider. The Birmingham University Massive Online Course was created to provide students from around the UK and the world with a taste of higher education. Everyone from all over the world can access the Courses. The online courses offered by Birmingham University are entirely free of charge and are accessible in all academic fields and majors. For the brief online courses, there is no cost.
