Ministry of Urban Development and Housing

According to the urban sector in national development strategy of the country, MUDH is responsible for guiding and formulating of urban policies; supporting of municipalities and preparing of urban master plans; and maintaining and managing of housings. In this regard, the ministry operates in the area of administrating and managing of urban affairs; infrastructural and urban services; improving of unplanned areas, land development and housing affairs.

MUDH has identified and prioritized 7 programs by technical team and urban experts: National Housing Program; National Improvement Program; National Program of Urban Infrastructure Planning and Construction; National Program of Arranging Urban Master Plan; Establishing of Urban Information System Program; Administration Reform Program; and Preservation and Rehabilitation of Historic Cities.
