Specific Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Lead andrncoordinate and implementation of education and child protection activities inrnUrozgan district according to work plan. Ensure the success of the projectrnactivities meeting its objectives, outcomes and aims as set out in the projectrnproposal.

Training and Team coordination:rnSupervise and support a team of community mobilisers, teachers and districtrnstaff prepare work on weekly and monthly work-plans and report on theirrnactivities field staff; and ensure the project team is in regular coordinationrnand communication with all project stakeholders. Follow up with team members onrnstaff progression and support team members with professional development.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Planrnand supervise the field staff activities in Uruzgan district tornensure the monitoring and evaluation activities lead to accountability andrnlearning towards the project log frame and indicators. Based on the review ofrnM&E data the joint district coordinator should be able to provide inputs onrnadapting the project implementation plan so as to meet project goals.

Internal Reporting: Managerninternal reporting deadlines acting as the link between the field staff,rnproject coordinator, and Education Manager; review the success and challengesrnof the field activities; and report to Education Project Manager any challengesrnfaced in in achieving the project’s expected results.

Relationship Management: maintainrnexisting positive working relationships with relevant authorities in Urozgan,rnincluding PED, DED and DoLSAMD, child protection stakeholders; internationalrndonors; and NGOs and local civil society.

Project activities Development: Coordinaternwith Joint District Coordinator, social workers and and projectrncoordinator on project activities, and monitoring and evaluation approaches.rnKnowledge and full compliance of education activities with government laws,rnpolicies, procedures, rules and regulations. Participate in field assessments,rnas appropriate, and provide feedback information to CiC National Office.
