About Us
Sustainable Goals Organization of Afghanistan (SGOA) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization. Founded with the primary objective of providing quality healthcare, social services, and promoting equal access to development and humanitarian assistance within communities, SGOA is dedicated to delivering exceptional humanitarian services, particularly in challenging and remote areas of the country.
SGOA was officially established on 2020/10/21 and is registered with the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. SGOA operates within the framework of the country’s constitution and holds the Ministry of Economy registration number 5042. Additionally, SGOA is recognized and registered with various humanitarian clusters, including WASH, Education, ES/NFI, Protection, and FSAC Clusters. The organization is a verified partner of UN-OCHA Humanitarian Access Group (HAG). Furthermore, SGOA has the distinct privilege of co-chairing the FSAC cluster in the southern region of Afghanistan, a testament to its dedication to humanitarian work. Currently, SGOA proudly collaborates with reputable international organizations such as UNDP, UN-WOMEN.
